The Champion Project

Who we are

The Champion Project connects caring adults with foster youth living in staffed facilities (today’s alternative to traditional orphanages) through mentoring, tutoring, and literacy programs

Goal
That every one of the 3,000+ youth living in congregate care facilities (today’s alternative to traditional orphanages) across the state of Texas will have a church home, a group of mentors, and a tutor that will help them reach their highest potential.

Vision
The Champion Project is built on the vision that churches will welcome youth in foster care living in congregate care facilities (today’s alternative to traditional orphanages) into their doors and into their lives, demonstrating the unconditional love of God through mentoring, while TCP supports their growth through tutoring and literacy programs.
